These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Globutor (the "Service"), operated by Mind Smith Education ("Globutor", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you are below the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must verify your email to access certain features such as posting, booking, and receiving payouts. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
Globutor connects learners, tutors, and institutions through a content feed, booking, messaging, and payment tools. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
You agree not to: post unlawful, harmful, misleading, or infringing content; harass or abuse other users; attempt to move payments or contact off-platform to avoid fees; circumvent security; or use the Service for anything other than its intended educational purpose. We use automated and human moderation and may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
You retain ownership of content you create, and you grant Globutor a licence to host, display, and distribute it as needed to operate the Service. You must have the rights to any content you post. The Globutor name, brand, and software remain our property.
Referral rewards, where offered, are subject to programme rules and may be changed or withdrawn. Abuse of referral or reward features may result in forfeiture and account action.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or where required by law.
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, tutor availability, or uninterrupted access. Tutors are independent and are not employees or agents of Globutor.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Globutor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Nigeria, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
